Snow day & severe weather policy
Employee safety comes before the schedule.
Colorado winter weather can change quickly. Precision Maid will not send employees onto the road during active severe-weather alerts affecting their route or whenever road conditions are unsafe.

How weather decisions work
- Official alerts and road conditions are monitored
- Affected customers are contacted directly
- Appointments may be delayed or rescheduled
- Employees are never expected to risk unsafe travel
We pause travel when alerts or road conditions make driving unsafe.
Precision Maid reviews active local weather alerts, forecast timing, road closures, and travel conditions for scheduled routes throughout northern Colorado Springs and the Tri-Lakes area.
If a weather alert or unsafe road conditions affect your cleaning day, we will contact you using the phone number or email provided with your appointment. Service may be delayed or moved to the next suitable opening.
The owner makes the final travel-safety decision. Customers and employees are not expected to take unnecessary risks to keep an appointment during dangerous winter weather.
What customers can do
- Keep your phone and email available for schedule updates
- Tell us if your driveway, walkway, or neighborhood roads are unsafe
- Do not ask an employee to continue traveling during an active alert
- Confirm the revised appointment time offered by Precision Maid
Please share local conditions with us when roads near your home are worse than conditions elsewhere in the service area.
We will contact you as early as practical when the schedule changes.
Weather decisions can vary by route and time of day. A morning appointment may be affected even if conditions improve later, and road conditions may differ between Colorado Springs, Monument, Palmer Lake, Black Forest, Briargate, and Gleneagle.
